New York, USA – August 17, 2021 – Creative Proteomics, experienced proteomics, metabolomics, and bioinformatics services supplier, has been well equipped with advanced technologies to meet the increasing needs of researchers and scientists in their proteomics and metabolomics related researches. In the past few years, the technology of mass spectrometry has been greatly developed and their applications broadened. Based on years of experience providing advanced proteomics services to customers in many countries and regions, Creative Proteomics has established a powerful mass spectrometry platform.

Mass spectrometry is characterized by high precision, high specificity, high sensitivity, economical, and high-throughput, which enables the detection of multiple indicators in a single experiment. The mass spectrometer ionizes the sample into gaseous ions, and uses mass-to-charge ratio (m/z) and isotope abundance analysis to identify compounds.

Organic small molecule mass spectrometry is divided into high- and low-resolution testings and spectrum analysis of single small molecule compounds, qualitative analysis of complex mixtures, and quantitative analysis of small molecule compound components. Biological macromolecule mass spectrometry is capable of protein post-translational modification determination, large-scale protein identification and quantification, protein molecular weight determination, in-gel enzymatic digestion, and shotgun protein identification.

Through mass spectrometry technology, protein expression profiles can be screened from cells, tissues, and body fluids such as blood, and biological markers useful for basic research and clinical diagnosis can be identified.

In a collaboration with a research group in the Department of Pharmacology, and Chronic Inflammatory Disease Research Center, Ajou University School of Medicin, Creative Proteomics utilized nanoLC-MS/MS platform to help analyze and screen the immunoprecipitated proteins of wild-type LRRK2 and mutant LRRK2-GS associated with Parkinson’s disease and unravel the mechanisms involved in LRRK2-GS-mediated Parkinson’s disease. Immunoprecipitated proteins were digested with trypsin and quantified on a nanoLC-MS/MS platform. Nano-LC was performed using an UltiMateTM 3000 nano UHPLC. Mass spectrometry was performed using a Q Exactive HF. A Proteome Discoverer 2.0 (Thermo Fisher Scientific) was used to analyze and search the raw MS files according to the type of sample. Three independent replicates of each experimental condition were performed to control for variation within the samples. A total of 2831 proteins were identified for subsequent analysis in this project.

“We aim to provide a versatile and reliable platform for proteomics analysis. With a standardized platform and strict quality control, we can provide our customers with high-quality and accurate data results,” stated Creative Proteomics’s executive VP.
